These Terms govern Camehere at camehereapp.com (the “Service”), including dating profiles, discovery, mutual matching, messaging, mutual meetup pins, the optional classic memory map, account connections, and related features. Read these Terms and the Privacy Notice before using the Service.
1. Adults only
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. The age entered in a profile and the adult checkbox are self-declarations; Camehere does not currently provide government-ID or third-party age verification. Do not use the Service if you are under 18.
2. Dating and matchmaking limits
Camehere helps adults discover profiles, indicate interest, match mutually, communicate, and record shared meetup places. We do not verify a member’s identity, background, intentions, relationship status, statements, photos, or suitability. A match is not a recommendation, endorsement, safety guarantee, or proof of consent. Use your own judgment before communicating or meeting.
3. Consent, safety, and lawful conduct
Use Camehere only for lawful, consensual adult interactions. Respect boundaries and a person’s right to stop communicating or withdraw consent at any time. Do not use Camehere to stalk, track, threaten, pressure, exploit, traffic, harass, deceive, doxx, discriminate against, or otherwise harm another person. Do not trespass or enter unsafe or restricted property because of a map or pin.
Consider meeting in a public place, telling someone you trust where you are going, arranging your own transportation, and avoiding sharing sensitive financial or home-address information before trust is established. If there is immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services; Camehere is not an emergency service.
4. Profiles, photos, and content
You are responsible for content you submit and represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use it. Profiles must represent the account holder and must not impersonate another person. Do not upload nude or sexually explicit images, sexual content involving minors, nonconsensual intimate material, threats, hateful or harassing content, illegal content, malware, or content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
5. Likes, Signals, matches, and messages
Likes and Signals indicate interest only. Messaging opens after a mutual match. Messages are not represented as end-to-end encrypted. A recipient may retain, copy, or screenshot messages. Blocking or unmatching stops future access through the Service when processed but cannot recall information already seen or copied.
6. Location and mutual pins
If you choose to share location for discovery, Camehere uses it to calculate approximate distance. Other members are not shown your exact discovery coordinates. Camehere does not provide continuous or background live-location sharing. A mutual meetup pin can contain an exact map point and is available only to the matched participants through the Service. A proposed pin does not become mutual until the recipient accepts it. Do not create a pin that reveals another person’s home, workplace, routine, or sensitive location without permission.
7. Blocking, reports, and moderation
You may unmatch, block, and report another account. Blocking prevents future discovery and removes an active match in the current beta. Reports may be retained and reviewed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or enforcement. We may restrict or remove accounts or content reasonably believed to violate these Terms, create safety or privacy risk, interfere with the Service, or violate law. We do not promise advance review of every profile, message, or report.
8. Accounts and Puter
Puter provides authentication and may provide cloud services under its own terms. Use only an account you are authorized to use and protect your credentials and devices. Camehere cannot recover a Puter account. An account-derived hashed identifier is used to associate server-side Camehere records without intentionally storing your Puter email address in the dating data store.
9. Classic memories and public features
The classic Camehere memory map remains available as a separate optional feature. Its counts, notes, photos, backups, privacy lock, friends tools, and any legacy public leaderboard are user-provided and not independently verified. A pin or count is not proof of conduct, consent, identity, or presence.
10. Your content license
You retain rights you have in your content. You grant Camehere a nonexclusive, limited permission to store, transmit, reproduce, resize, display, and technically process your content as reasonably necessary to provide the features you request, operate safety controls, resolve reports, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Camehere.
11. Privacy and data security
Our Privacy Notice describes data handling. No system is perfectly secure. Do not use Camehere as the only copy of information you need to preserve, and do not share secrets or information you would not want a recipient to retain.
12. Third-party services and maps
Camehere relies on services including Netlify, Puter, Esri map imagery, Photon/OpenStreetMap search data, Google Fonts, and code delivery providers. Their availability, accuracy, terms, and privacy practices are separate. Map, search, distance, GPS, and imagery information may be inaccurate or outdated. Verify locations independently.
12A. Heatwave visibility boost
Heatwave is an optional beta discovery feature. When activated, it can temporarily prioritize your profile for mutually compatible members within approximately 10 miles when both accounts have chosen to share approximate location. Heatwave does not reveal exact discovery coordinates, does not guarantee views or matches, and may be changed, limited, or removed during testing. Heatwave is currently offered without a separate charge during the beta.
13. Purchases
The dating beta does not currently advertise paid dating features. Existing legacy billing infrastructure may remain technically present while testing continues, but no new dating subscription is authorized merely by accepting these Terms. Any future paid offer will require a separately presented price and purchase action.
14. Availability and changes
The Service is a beta and may change, contain errors, be unavailable, or have features added or removed. We may make reasonable changes for product development, maintenance, security, safety, legal compliance, or abuse prevention. Material legal changes will be versioned and may require renewed acknowledgment.
15. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that matches, users, locations, messages, or outcomes will be accurate, safe, compatible, or uninterrupted. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. You remain responsible for your own decisions, communications, meetings, and conduct.
16. Ending use and contacting us
You may stop using Camehere at any time. Use in-app delete, unmatch, block, and export controls where available, and use the contact form for safety reports, privacy requests, account-data requests, or other questions. Some records may remain where reasonably needed for security, disputes, legal obligations, backups, or enforcement as described in the Privacy Notice.
